Explore the state of the world today through natural and human environments, through a variety of research, discussion, analysis and fieldwork. A mix of New Zealand and global contexts are investigated, such as; The process of tourism and sustainability in Rotorua, Fieldays, Maritime Piracy. Students are able to direct aspects of the course to suit their own interests. This is an achievement standards based course with the opportunity to gain aspects of UE literacy.
