A mix of New Zealand and global contexts from furious volcanoes, terrifying tsunamis, anti--social behaviour in Putaruru, hemp farming and child poverty. Students are able to direct aspects of the course to suit their own interests. This is an achievement standards based course with the opportunity to gain Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy credits.
